It had would have been no easy feat infiltrating the Sheeva colony's territory had they chosen anywhere less popular than the forest ruins. As it was, however, Sasha had quickly devised a plan to get one of his spies beyond the boundary without being noticed; and it was as easy as slipping a kit into a tourist's travel pack. The human had stopped for lunch in the park prior to his visit to the forest ruins, and while he was thus engaged in his meal, Sasha had helped young Nefetari slip into the back pocket with a warning not to get squished by whatever the French photographer was carrying. The human finished his food quickly, tossed the wrapping into the nearest recycle bin, grabbed his pack with kit inside, and strode off toward his next destination.
Sasha hid beneath the bench and watched him until he was out of sight, then returned to the Catherdral following one last glance over his shoulder. It would be a lie to say that Sasha was not nervous for Neffy. He was rather fond of the little kit's spunk, but figured the Sheeva colony might take better to a small, furless intruder, than they would to a larger one with more life experience.
Neffy found the journey to the ruins very uncomfortable, due to the hard objects the tourist had stashed away, but was glad of them anyway when it turned out they were delicate instruments that had to be handled with care. When the photographer had finally arrived at the ruins, he set his pack down carefully and went to retrieve his camera, and Neffy took the opportunity to make a run for it- Leaving the human behind with an exclamation of surprise in his throat.
She had no idea where she was going or who she was looking for as her little black body vanished amid the foliage and stones of the ruined building. She knew only that she was to play the part of an abandoned house cat kitten, and befriend the Sheeva colony princes and princesses if at all possible. To help in her ruse, Sasha had dropped her in the park lake, than taken her to a garage sale in the neighborhood and had her rub herself all over the most pungent household items: couches, rugs, old dresses, and even a perfume bottle. She definitely smelled like a household kitty now.
