Sasha stalked down the spacious main hall of the Cathedral. Even for having been abandoned by the humans years ago, there was something to be said in the exquisite craftsmanship of every pillar and rafter. Even the stained glass windows, as badly bleached by sun and stained with mud as they were, were something to behold. Sasha was pleased that his father had taken this place from the feuding Shamsi and Sheeva colonies. Now they were living in the hills and forests, subject to all kinds of weather, while Sasha and his followers lived here in basic comfort and all splendor.
... Though, Sasha noted with displeasure, that the Roshan colony were not exactly an official group: They hadn't any ranks, and did little to look out for each other. In his mind, that left them vulnerable. Unity held kingdoms and nations together. The lack thereof often led to destruction. Though many colony members believed it was their sudden attack and strength that won them the cathedral 4 years ago, Sasha was not a fool. He knew it was the lack of unity between Sheeva and Shamsi that led to their crushing defeat by the Roshen colony, and that it would take nothing more for them to turn the tables, and win back this place they had once treasured.
Thus it was Sasha's goal to make sure those two feuding colonies stayed feuding, until the Roshen clan had enough strength to destroy them.
Turning into a large room filled with red cushioned chairs, Sasha noticed a bald, black kit sitting near the front row and grooming her shoulder. She wasn't who he had been searching for, but she was very close to him, so Sasha approached. Nefertari. Where's Two-Face? He asked, standing over her.
Neffy, as she was called for short, looked up at him and sneered. What do you care? she demanded. Sasha felt irritation rise in his chest. Though he was in fact the leader of the most dangerous group of cats ever, his size and strength made it laughable for him to lay claim to such a position. Thus he had to hide under the alias of the leader's worthless messenger; the only cat who had supposedly ever seen this big, bad leader of the Roshen colony.
I have a message for him from the leader. Sasha said, swallowing his irritation.
Neffy's ears perked at this, and her face fell from defensive to a look of alarm. Oh. Well, he's not here right now. He said something about scoping the territory, and another about finding us lunch... He hasn't come back yet. she said quickly, clearly trying to protect her friend from the supposedly merciless leader's wrath.
Sasha sighed. That's fine. I'll tell him when he gets back then. he said, turning and stalking from the room. He entered the main hall once again, quietly grumbling to himself. Looking up, he was able to stop just before colliding with another cat!
