♛ L i l l i t h ♛ The red she-cat yawned, hopping herself onto one of the dumpsters and peering inside. She sighed as she smelt nothing edible to her. She didn't mind having to go beg if it meant getting a good meal. The she-cat laid herself down, closing her amber eyes for a moment as she rested. Around her she could hear the distant sound of cars whizzing past, a dog somewhere in the apartments barking madly and a single lonely paper drifting through the alleyway.
No signs of cats. Roshen, Shamsi or Sheeva alike. She'd rather have a nomad or stray pass through, she wasn't looking for a fight at all. Just a nice meal and a good nights sleep. Small flakes of snow settled beside her, drifting from the top of the building from the wind. She curled up even more to conserve her warmth. She hated the winter. The way the cold chilled her. The way it wrapped it's icy fingers around her bones and squeezed. The way it was unforgiving and relentless. It reminded her too much of her. She let out another sigh and sniffled. Her ears were twiching, a faint sound could be heard near her. It must have been another cat entering the alleyway.
She let out a soft hiss as a warning. She didn't want to be disturbed but she wasn't going to attack, at least not now anyways. find lillith's information here

Two-Face stalked slowly through the cold brick streets, sniffing the air for what had passed by and what may yet be near. Having two noses, it would seem he could catch an extra scent if ever there was one, but he had never actually proved that; not even to himself. It was best just to let other cats think what they would about his mutation. After all, some believed his third middle eye could see into their souls, even though it was quite blind and couldn't see anything but blurry shadows- And only in bright areas. But they left him alone because of it, so he didn't mind.
Turning a corner, he caught the sound of a light hiss. Glancing up, he saw a cat on one of the dumpsters. He paused in his moving and stared at her, unsure whether or not this female was a member of one of the rival clans, or just some street cat stray.

The warning hiss didn't seem to keep the cat away which caught Lillith's attention. She slowly lifted her head and opened up her amber eyes to catch the intruder. A tom with two faces. He was much recognizable, and from the looks of it a Roshen cat. But she couldn't be sure. Not many cats had turned out who they said they were.
"And who might you be?"She purred, keeping her position on the dumpster. She was tense and ready to move in an instant incase this were to go south. "Haven't seen you around these parts."

Two-Face watched the female's movements as she lifted her head and looked at him. She didn't seem as relaxed as she sounded, but it seemed to him her tenseness was more out of the fear of being attacked, rather than in preparation to attack. It hadn't been his experience that you start with a pleasant introduction if you want a fight anyway.
Taking a step back, Two-face sat himself upon the icy pavement and looked up at the female. He saw no reason not to oblige her this conversation; he could change from passive to defensive in a heartbeat if the situation demanded it.. Somehow, he doubted it would. "I'm called Two-Face." he said simply. It was best not to address the reason for his being here just now. "You must have come here searching for food. Winter dumpsters are not ideal sunning spots."

"Right you are."Lillith uncurled and stretched, a yawn escaping her mouth. "Food and a nap was on the agenda."
The red she-cat jumped down from the cold dumpster and landed on the icy pavement in front of the tom. She circled him, looking his up and down, examining him thoroughly before eventually relaxing. "Well, two-face, care to entertain me with your business here?" The strange tom had peaked her interest and made her curious. "Looking for someone or something?"The sultry female rubbed her head along his shoulder and used her bushy tail to tickle the nearest nose.

Two-Face watched the female as she circled about him; neither face showing more expression then their usual solemnity. He was fine with the fact that she had relaxed now, but he found her sudden bravado at being near him to be curious. For all she knew, he could still attack her, yet she dared get close enough for physical contact. Perhaps she had determined, as he had, that neither of them were looking for a fight right now.
As her tail brushed against his nose, he twitched the tickle out of it and turned his head to face her. "My business is my own.. Besides, I still do not know your name." he said simply. He wasn't a snitch. If she wanted to be entertained with information, then he would entertain her, but he required a little information of his own first.

"My name is Lillith." Her calculating amber eyes watched the tom and his reactions. "I'm a big, bad Roshen cat." She was amused by her own words. He wasn't reacting as she thought he would which only further lead her on of his colony status.
"Ya don't trust me enough to tell me anything? I'm pretty trustworthy when I wanna be."The truth. Lillith could be anything she wanted to be given the situation. Needed to be kind? She could choke back witty retorts and do it. Needed to fake a loss and actually be sad. No problem. She had a thing for acting. Slowly bending people to her will by showing an ounce of ungenuine emotion. But her being trustworthy was the truth. She was honest and truthful, able to keep a secret when necessary. And with Two-Face she was being herself, no persona or mask she put on.

There was a gleam of intrigue in Two-Face's eyes as the female announced she was part of his colony, but he was not foolish enough to believe his colony were the good guys, so he kept up his guard. "While it has given me no displeasure to meet you, Lillith, I do not trust anyone." he said flatly, "But I, too, am a member of Roshen. I am here for reasons concerning them.. I will not say specifically what those reasons are."
Though a bit standoffish, Two-Face had never been one to act outside of how he really felt. He had secrets, but no pretenses. Lillith seemed like she was being genuine enough as well, but he found her choice of words and behavior to be strange-- If only because she was being so friendly. He wasn't sure if she was just bored and literally looking for someone to entertain her; or if she wanted something from him.. Either way, he didn't trust her not to have an ulterior motive.

The Roshen female perked her ears up at that. Oh. Reasons he cannot tell me?"You're nothing like the other toms I've encountered. You play hard to get." She swished her tail, idly giving her paw a lick. "That's a nice trait to have. I like being kept on my toes. I'm looking for someone to spice up my life, things have been getting boring. Fighting here, some fighting there. Get a meal and sleep. Repeat the next day. I have nothing to do."She sighed. "I'm a bad cat but I'm not just gonna do anything malicious if unprovoked. You can calm down around me, I'm fine I promise. If it's about Roshen then it should concern me too hm?" She felt risky, as if she was testing her weight on a thin sheet of ice across a lake.

Two-Face furrowed his brows slightly at the term 'playing hard to get', but whatever his thoughts on the matter, he let them slide without a word. Lillith's comment had left him with more than a few options of where to take this conversation, and if he wasn't careful, he may take it to an abrupt end. This red female had intrigued him from the start with her words and actions, but having learned they shared the same colony, he felt it was in his best interest to continue this interaction until he learned more about her disposition.
Perhaps, but I have said all I will say regarding that matter. he said simply, in answer to her last question. Stirring suddenly, he rose to his feet and took a single step forward, keeping his eyes on her. Why do you keep stressing the fact that you are a bad cat and also claim to be so trustworthy? It has not been my experience that those things together.

Lillith grinned at him. "Because I like teasing you. You're an interesting cat but you're not letting out much." She stretched and swished her tail from side to side. "I'll be new experience for you. Definitely going to prove you wrong." She didn't shy away as the tom stepped closer however she herself stayed. "Ya hungry? A girls gotta eat and I haven't had anything satisfactory in a few days." A bowl of milk and a nice can of tuna sounded like heaven right about now. She would probably go over to her usual to get that but she wasn't going to leave Two-Face just yet.

Her solid stance was enough to tell him what he needed to know; she was honest-to-goodness confident he wasn't a threat to her. Two-Face leaned back and sat down once again, curling his tail around his paws as he Lillith continued. He didn't imagine they would be sitting for much longer, following Lillith's mention of food, but it was his way of showing that he did not consider her a threat either. "I'm not good at entertaining." He said simply, "But yes, I am a little hungry.. Do you ask that question as a reason to excuse yourself, or do you intend for us to find food together?"

♛ Lillith ♛ "Leaving you would be rude, I was asking because I'd like you to come along. I can find a meal for the both of us." She sighed. All she would have to do was find the right house, someone who was a cat owner of course, meow and scratched till she got their attention and put on her damn best pair of innocent eyes. "It'll be easy, if you don't like humans you can stay back and let me work."

It's not rude if you have a valid reason for doing so. he said simply.
Admittedly, Two-Face did not like humans at all. He'd had countless encounters with them, when they tried to catch him and put him down because of his mutation, but he said nothing and nodded in response to Lilith. If she wanted to beg for food from people, he wouldn't stop her. He was interested in observing how she did it, but he himself would not be seen. Depending on how long it took the human to decide to feed her, he might go catch something for himself while she was busy.

"Good, follow me. I have the perfect place in mind." A little house in the neighborhood. A sweet middle aged woman lived there and she had a created a career out of breeding cats. She adored Lillith, often leaving out bowls of fish and treats when the red female stopped by. "It's not that far. We'll be eating in no time." [moving this to the neighborhood thread :3 ]

Two-Face stood and followed after Lilith, casting a brief glance at the alleyway behind them. He had a reason for coming her, but considering it was his own idea and in no way an order from anyone of greater authority, he figured it would be alright to delay for a time. After all, it wasn't a lie when he said he was hungry, because he hadn't eaten at all that day, and he still had a few things yet to learn about this red female before he'd feel completely satisfied with her. So, he stalked after her quietly as they made their way toward the neighborhood.
[Okay. =D]
