Snow fell on top of the thin black cat. The weather seemed to be dragging down Eve's mood even more. It reminded her of the night when she had first seen Elise's eye. How she had loved the day, but now this weather just made her even more depressed. Snow slashed through Eve's short fur, and the wind sounded like it was mocking her. The wind through the leaves sounded like screeching and jeering, and the black loner had no choice but to walk beneath the humiliation. The snow burnt her paws, and it clawed her heart out. She could remember in her mind's eye how Elise used to disappear in the snow, and then jump out at Eve just to try and make Eve laugh. It had always worked, and the two would go tumbling away in a play fight. It had been the best fun. Now all she could think was, Stupid snow, all it does is get in my way.  

Huffing, the thin female started to hop through the snow. There was no other way to get through it. I must look like an utter fool. She was right, but that was because her body wasn't made for light, graceful jump. It was made for fighting. Elise had always been the graceful one. She could leap high in the sky and land without a single sound. Her body had been made up of lean muscle, and even though Eve was thin, she wasn't exactly small. She had long legs that always seemed to get tangled up when pouncing on a piece of prey. Elise had always laughed at Eve, but it wasn't in a mean way. After laughing, she would always show Eve a better technique to use next time. They were the perfect team. The perfect couple... Eve thought wistfully.

Assiah | Sheeva Queen

Snow squished underneath her paws as she walked through the muddy snow, getting her rather clean fur wet and muddy. The Bengal huffed and continued her walk towards Humming Bird Forest. A blur of black caught her attention, watching as a black cat jumped out of the snow, leaving holes in her wake. A smirk came to her lips, watching the black blob. A kick came and she gasped, knowing she must get home soon. The kittens might be on their way. It's back to get back to Renwick Ruins. Assiah turned and looked back at Sharkbait, smiling at him before turning away just as she came to the entrance of the forest. The coldness of the snow clung to her, unable to sit down because it was just to much. She couldn't feel her paws anymore, they hurt so much. She stood there, watching the black cat, tilting her head a bit as she watched. Hopefully,  Silas doesn't show up.

You Could clearly see the worry in Sharkbait's eyes for Assiah she had said the kittens were trying to push their way into the world. There was a part of him wanted to make sure she stayed with him and make sure everything went well and another part wanted to make sure she got back to the Colony where the entire colony could protect her.

The tom froze the moment the black she-cat came into view. He couldn't move a muscle like he had been frozen to that very spot with snow and ice. His heart beat was thudding. When it was just him and Assiah he was an entire new cat but bring another can into the picture and he was back to being Sharkbait.

*Eve the Loner*

"You reached in and stole my heart..."

The black loner heard voice behind her back, and in a furious rage, Eve flipped around to face the strange cats. She let out a hiss, and she spat, "What are you doing watching me?!" All of her short, black fur stood on end, and her eyes were wide. Her ears were pulled back, and she had one paw raised to strike if they got closer. There were two cats, and she had no idea when they had gotten there. These cowards stand and watch me. They should learn what cats like that do. The will be sorry- Her fury filled yellow eyes landed on the silver cat's belly. She narrowed her eyes and took a few steps towards the female. She's pregnant... Her eyes then moved to the tom. This must be the father...



"Congratulations..." Eve hissed at the soon-to-be parents. Being nice wasn't something she ever did. Well... That wasn't true. She had always been nice to Elise, but that was a cat she had known with all of her heart. These were strangers. Pregnant or not, this female had been watching her. That made Eve uncomfortable, and when she was uncomfortable she got angry. It was a defensive thing. Some cats made jokes when they felt threatened, while Eve tried to be the threatening one. Her ears remained pulled back as she moved her eyes across the couple, "So... When are they coming?" Her thin, black tail flicked towards the female's bulging belly. "You two must be so excited..." Her voice remained threatening, even though she was trying to relax. Hopefully this male wouldn't attack her when his kits were at risk. Eve was quick, and she knew that she could rip into the female's belly quickly. If it comes down to it, a pregnant female shouldn't put up much of a fight. I can't imagine that it is easy to walk around with... that. Let alone fight.



A smirk played formed on her face as these thoughts came to the surface. Inside of her heart she knew it would be wrong to attack a pregnant female, but she didn't care. Spilling blood might make her feel better.

"...and I'm all alone."

*Sharkbait the Loner*

"What doesn't kill you..."

Sharkbait stood frozen like a statue it was like he would never move again. However something seemed to snap inside the lanky tom something he had never felt before. It was the way the she-cat was looking at Assiah all his instincts were vibrant as his fur stood on end. He stepped forward stiffly his ear swiveled back when Assiah meowed towards him her words cutting like a knife "I have to go it's time now." He wanted to turn towards her and bag for her to stay, but he didn't all he could do was nod, a nod made up of sadness.

His eyes never left Eve daring the ebony she-cat to come any closer towards Assiah-wait she had left- just as fast as she had arrived she had left him all alone with this she-cat.

Sharkbait's stance folded and he was again a frozen fool. He had a look of terror in his eyes but he was also not doing either fight or flight he was just frozen there in that very spot.

The black loner grinned evilly at the tom, "It looks like your friend is gone, now, who are you?" Her voice was extremely threatening, and she hadn't relaxed at all. Though she was happy the female was gone. She didn't want to attack an expecting mother. It was wrong, and even Eve with her dark and shriveled heart knew that.

Slowly, Eve started to pace around Sharkbait. Part of her wanted to fight him. She wanted to rip into his stupid black and white fur. She wanted to spill this innocent cat's blood, and maybe that would make her feel better. Inside, she knew that it wouldn't, but she had to do something! She couldn't live with this stupid broken heart forever, and she needed it fixed. Nothing will fix it, but Elise coing back to life. But I need to distract myself. That dam fire killed her, and now I want to avenge her life. But then again, who kills a tom who is about to become a father. Her mind was like two sides of a war, each side knew what was right, but they wouldn't let that change their beliefs.

Sharkbait watched as the night colored she-cat walked around him his eyes fallowing every motion she made. When she asked him who he was he swallowed. His mouth felt dry and not like his mouth but it was "uhh-ahh- Shar--" he paused taking a deep breath "Sharkbait" he finally mumbled under his breath as he looked down at the ground.

"look I don't want any trouble." He wished they hadn't come here and then Sharkbait wouldn't have to deal with this she-cat. At least Assiah was gone and hopefully safe..happy.. without him. There was a feeling deep in his chest, he felt sick knowing she was with another cat.

Sharkbait peeked back up wondering if this she-cat was planning on fighting him, in his entire year on this planet Sharkbait had not fought with anyone. He had played fighted with siblings but that was different they were not aiming to hurt him. If this she-cat chose to fight him she would be aiming to fight him and quite frankly he wasn't sure he would be able to win any kind of fight. Perhaps one day Sharkbait would be more out going however today would most likely not be one of those days.

Eve let out a bark like laugh, "Sharkbait? What kind of name is that?" A wicked grin was stuck onto her face now, and it wasn't leaving anytime soon. HA! This is just some coward. I can rip into his stupid black and white pelt and stain it red with blood- But a voice in her head that sounded a lot like Elise's spoke up, It's wrong to kill this cat, but that doesn't mean you can't scare the daylights out of him. It was a mix of Eve's mind and Elise's mind, but it was a good plan. No significant blood needed to be spilled, but Eve could still have some fun.

The black loner continued to pace around Sharkbait as she spoke, "You don't want any trouble?" If it were possible her smile grew more evil, "I don't think I can do that." There was a manic glint in her eye as she smiled, and she wanted to mess with this cat's head. Yet Eve didn't know how good a fighter this cat was, and she didn't want to get in over her head when this was all for fun.

Suddenly, Eve darted towards Sharkbait. She wasn't going to hurt him or even use claws. She was just trying to smack his head and dart back out of range. She just wanted to play a game with this cat, well... It was a game to her.

Sharkbait jumped back the females claws barely missing his face as he felt back and rolled over. His eye brows furrowed and for a moment he sat there dumbfounded the she-cat was making anger stir in his stomach bit he didn't know how to deal with it.

He stood back up on his paws and looked back at the ebony she-cat "j-j-just leave me alone! I-I h-ave don---e anything to y-o-u!" His voice shook as he shook some of the spring mud and dirt off his black and white coat.

He was trying to wrap his head around what he was going to do to protect himself from this she-cat his brother and sister were not around this time to rescue him and he was shaking like a leaf. If the she-cat had attacked him one how did she know she would not try again? He was on guard this time ready to attempt to defend himself he needed to.

Eve started to laugh at Sharkbait's voice. Her laugh was high and sick. "You coward! Stand your ground!" She began to circle around Sharkbait once more. She was trying to un-balance him. "So... Tell me more about yourself... Sharkbait." Eve sneered at the black and white stranger. This disgusting little mouse. How in the world did he get a female to have his kits? "So that female who was here... She was rather pretty wasn't she..." Eve flashed a crooked smile at the tom. How did something like you get someone like that?" It was a mean thing to say, but she wanted to mean! She wanted to make someone feel as bad as she did! She wanted him to hurt! Inside, she hated him for having someone. Why does he deserve to be happy? Why does he get someone and I don't!? It's not fair! I am a good person who keeps getting messed up day after day after day, for what?! What do I get in return?! I lost my parents, and I got an insane half a parent instead! I lost my true love and instead I get to talk to some coward tom! It's not fair!

Sharkbait was a little surprised when she asked him tell her something about himself, really? She had tried to rip his face off now she wanted to talk? He was thoroughly confused at this evil and sadistic being maybe she liked to know things about her victims before she murdered them? Sharkbait shivered at the thought. He hoped that wasn't that case.

That strange feeling came back at the mention of Assiah and his lip protruded "She" he paused shifting through his words carefully "She visits me sometimes" he simply said not wanting to even attempt to explain that she had chose her Colony over him and now that she was gone and already had his precious kits. He took a deep breath and attempted to hold in the sadness that bubbled up into his chest.
